I've just bought a new payg SE750i on Orange. I wanted to use my Orange payg sim. But the shop assistant put in the new sim, registered it, and generated a phone number and 4digit id number. i've had 2messages off Orange to complete registration. now can i take out the new sim and put my old 1 in?? yeah it should be fine. the settings are stored on the handset, not the sim. it should be the same message centre number for text messages as well, although you may need to download orange mms and gprs settings again (it is different for PAYG and pay monthly) if this handset isn't allready pay as you go.

go to www.sonyericsson.com and click on support

I'm using the new sim for now cos it's got 11GBPs of credit on it, so i may as well use that up 1st. I just won't set up email, or phone sync yet. This message was posted from a K750
