Hi all - I'm struggling to get my p910i (on voda network) to link with my newly acquired TomTom go 500 and figure from what I've read on the net that unlocking and debranding may be the only way to go. Both TT and Vodamoan have been singularly unhelpful in finding a solution.

My question is what is the best and safest way to do this please - who do you recommend to unlock and debrand - remote or otherwise etc

Thanks for you help and advice in advance.

There's a thread here that describes how to debrand a P910 for free using only the standard DSS-25, SEUS and a little bit of clever file manipulation:

It appears to have worked for most people who have tried it.

As for unlocking, DaVinci seems to be the most popular service, I believe it costs about £10

There is also a chance that davinci will leave your fon in an inoperable state.
