Hi everyone,
Just had a few questions about the ROKR E1 since im planning on getting it. I think it suits my needs pretty well and falls nicely in my budget. But the problem is, that ive read some extremely mixed reviews. I dont see the problem why it got such bad reviews...isnt it just a slightly modded version of the E398 (i.e. newer firmware, new look)? And if it is...why is it that the E398 got such rave reviews and the E1 did not? was it people's expectations or something?
Okay now just to a few specific questions...
1. Is there any hack on getting past the 100 song limit in iTunes?
2. Where are the SMS's stored? I remember reading somewhere for the E398 they are stored in the SIM which really restricts the amount of storage. Is it the same for the E1?
3. How does it actually compare with the E398...in terms of speed/reception/sound quality... I read that the E398 isnt a cheetah when it comes to speed, so does that mean the E1 is actually SLOWER as it has iTunes with the same processor as ER98?
4. Is it true that i can only transfer songs that i have purchased from iTunes, and not my other ones that i have downloaded from elsewhere?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
