Hello,

Based on the IMEI-number of a cellphone you can tell which country is was made for, the manufactor, the phone-model, etc..

But where on the Internet can you find a list of the different number?

Is that site secure? Sounds like a good way to supply important info to strangers. IMEI numbers could be dangerous in the wrong hands.

to said the truth, i don't know. but i believe, it's secure.

why do you think your imei number could be in danger in these hands? the only insecure issue with imei i see, that somebody "steals" my imei for his phone, so i would not be able to register into network with my phone ... and for this i believe this site.

@boba - so what was the number for the factory in the uk? - just checked imei on the t65 i'm using with free months of wap courtesy of o2 with there free sims then take it out shove it in the bin and put another one in - the 7th+8th digits are 01 - + its a proto t65 This message was posted from a T65
