Hello

i have got a P900 and was happily using it till yesterday.

I was using the virtual keyboard to type in notes and to do text stuff. but today when i wanted to type some text i cant see the virtual on-screen keyboard icon at the bottom of the screen.

have i messed up the settings in some way

perhaps i am in some mode which does not offer the virtual on-screen keyboard icon. please help me so that i can happily type text in notepad documents and text messages

This happens on my p910 every week or so - restarting it always works - a bit of a pain...

I think this issue can be fixed with a firmware update

yup, on my p910i r5b it never happen. previously owned p900 with newest fw never acted like that - try SEUS II and see - should help.

go to www.sonyericsson.com and go to support then find your phone and choose to do a firmware upgrade, its really easy, just follow the directions they give you, but follow them carefully, you can screw up your phone very much if you do anything wrong
