The release note just says "performance improvements" - AND THAT IS TRUE!!!

On my P910i it now runs much smoother and scenes with a lot of action no longer makes the sound and video stutter.

And - it's a free update - YEAH!

Anything that runs on UIQ 2 does not run on UIQ 3, and vice versa, as these are incompatible operating systems. A separate version is necessary for each platform.
