How about a thread to improve our written English skills folks? I mean, we all know the basics of English and most of us are well conversant. But we do make some li'l mistakes like using "than" instead of "then" and "rediculous" instead of "ridiculous" . Why not have a thread where we post replies the way English is meant to be written? Lets all improve our written communication skills. Post replies here with the correct punctuation and applicable grammar. I hope this doesn't turn out to be a dumb idea.

Definately, i hate when people make very basic spelling errors, particularly mixing up "your" and "you're" and i hate when people say e.g. when they mean i.e.

This guy here has similar views to myself on the subject, in fact it annoys him so much he's went around taking pictures of poor spelling and grammar on signs, websites, newspapers and things and posted them on his website: http://badgas.co.uk/language/

i.e. means "specifically" and e.g. means "for example"

Heres an example of a wrongly used "your" it should read "you're" - Its cringeworthy

@leeboy, i noticed some of your posts where you type "they should of" which i think is actually "they should have" .May be you're typing it the way it sounds to you. The pronunciation.. And hey just noticed its pronunciation and not pronounciation!! You learn something each day, don't you?
