I have sonyericsson t68i trying to connect to windows xp pc with msi usb bluetooth.
I have had it all working no problem with the latest msi drivers, i sent 1 picture with sonyericsson mypictures fine then it refused to find the phone anymore. I could sync with outlook everytime.
I tried a few things and decided to unistall all sonyericsson software and msi software and downloaded all the latest sonyericsson software and reinstall it all. It worked again, i sent several pictures again with mypictures and sync with outlook but now it will not find the phone again in mypictures but will still sync.
I have serial port 1 set to com5 and serial port 2 set to com6 in mobile phone monitor. Please can someone help. The only thing i done between it working and not working was connect to the internet. I have tried restarting switching phone on and off etc, but still no luck
I have datacable and this works fine everytime but would prefer bluetooth but i am loosing faith so would really appreciate any tips.
Thanks

If configured properly, it's just as good as cable or IR - if not better.
Since you use the MSI BT key, this thread may be useful to you:

the cost of getting a BT for my laptop put me off, now i got my infrered port on my laptop working, and all the setting right, i don't need BT.
Mind u infrered port on my laptop on the right hand side, so my T68i is upside down to me, well i can live with that

Thats the same with most lap tops, why did
decide to put the ir on the right side?

My notebooks IR is on the front, left side. Guess I got lucky.
But the best part of BT is keeping your phone in your pocket and using it as a mobile modem! That would be tough with IR.

The IR is probably located there because of ergonomic considerations for the volume key. They're left with that location for the ir

Toshiba is the most common notebook brand in the world and I think all of their models with IR have it on the front edge like mine. Mobile phones ought to have their IR ports on the top of the phone like the Siemens S40. Makes it easy to transfer stuff with other people as well as computers!
Come to think of it, that's about the only good thing I can say about the S40.
