In call, the called party gets beeps when you are trying to press the record button. Is there anyway to disable this tone so that the called party does not know?

Thanks

By default the phone lock code should be 0000.
Try that.

Try coughing when it beeps. I do, and it works a treat.

If they don't know what it is, why don't you just say that you pressed a key by mistake, or is it an ongoing noise...?!

I believe only a firmware update can resolve the issue - which is out of the question to even think about - SE is more focused on releasing new cell phones than improving the 2.0 megapixel pioneer K750i.
