I took the sim card out of my phone
when i put it back in and turned the phone on all i got was a white screen for about 2 seconds and then the phone goes dead
To get any sign of life i have to take the battery out and put it in again and all i get then is the 2 sceond white screen. Same happens when its hooked up to the mains or usb
I tried putting another sim in, made sure its sitting properly
Has anyone heard of this happening or has it to do with battery/sim/phone

Take it to a SE service center. Sounds to me like the firmware is acting up. Most probably a reflash will fix it.

I had a similar problem with T630 but it was because of the alarm function. what I did (in desesperation) was press all the buttons I could on the keypad while the screen was white. It worked, the phone restarted. well,
this is the whole story
