I need an application like a bluetooth chat.where you can extendn messages in a messenger like way but via blueooth and an application that you can talk to another person nearby via bluetooth.
Anybody know anything?

u have not mentioned which phone model u want it 4.there is one called bt sensor for nokia's series 60 phones.

there is 1 java app called chat2u which works via bluetooth.i have not tried it.do so at ur own risk.u can find it on google.

it would be good if you could have one similar to the built in chat of the Nintendo DS, where you could use your notepad to write out text and send over bluetooth, although, i guess that with the 10m range of bluetooth, you may as well just talk to them, or throw paper notes at them!
