Well, this all started almost a month ago on the 16th of January. I was selling my Sharp 902, which you may have seen. The user Alton_Towers contacted me about the 902 and we talked about a trade for his K700 and 7610, which were also for sale at the time.
We were going through the final stages of the sale. I asked if he had any feedback. He gave me a link to an eBay account.

I checked it out and it all seemed fine.
We both agreed to send our phones on Friday. At this point I backed out of the deal as I had another offer. Over the course of the next four days we continued to talk, via private messaging on Esato. On the 20th of January I agreed to the deal, which now included the 7610, k700, various software and around 200 signal boosters.
On Friday the 20th he asked me if I would actually send on the Saturday as we agreed. Of course I said yes. On Saturday the 21st I sent the package in the morning. He told me he was sending later on. I thought this was strange as post offices are only open until 12 o'clock on Saturday. He PM'ed me at 15:48 to tell me he didn't send the phones as the post office was closed, but he didn't realise it shut at 12. He then told me had never tried to send anything on a Saturday before. He now told me he would send the phones on Monday.
On Sunday the 22nd he told me he had found an extra fascia for the 7610 and would include it.
I constantly tried to contact him via PM here on Esato for the following week, when I did not recieve the phones etc. I also emailed the eBay user and was told teh phones would be sent the following day. (Can't remember the day though)
On the 30th he told me he was sorry and he had been away. He told me he would send the phone on Tuesday the 31st of January. He told me he had recieved the 902 and everything was fine and in order.
I did not recieve the phones etc and on the 2nd of February he contacted me via PM to tell me the 7610 had developed a fault and would I accept cash? Of course this is what I originally wanted and accepted straight away. I gave him my bank details so that he could transfer the funds. He told me on Friday the 3rd, he had sent the money and it would take a few days due to us being with different banks.
On the 8th I had still not recieved the money which was £130. I did though recieve a payment of about £45. I PM'ed him asking if it was from him. He told me it was and that £85 had been sent back to him, he told me he would resend.
I then got confirmation from my bank that the £45 payment was infact a transfer from PayPal that I forgot about. So now I was aware that he had lied to me. I told him I may involve the police, or even travel to his address.

So far he has my phone. I have no phones, no money and no trust for him. He has not contacted me since. If anyone has any information please let me know!

ahhh tough break...

Where did you send the phone? was it a house address? or a PO Box etc?
from the ebay user he/she lives in

You say that the ebay user responded saying the phones will be sent out the next day? so that ebay user is definately Alton Towers?

Hi. Sorry if I have got the wrong person, but someone from Esato.com with the username Alton_Towers has a deal with me for a couple of phones and other things. I was given a link by him to this eBay account which he claimed to be his. If this is correct then that is ok. If not then sorry to bother you. The only reason I have emailed is because he is not answering me on Esato, and was supposed to send my items a week ago!

Once again I am trying to contact Esato user Alton_Towers. If you are reading this mate, then please answer me on Esato! You have had my phone for weeks now, and still not paid me anything. You owe me £130. Please contact me about this as I am loosing trust in you and may have to take more serious action if you decide not to pay/contact me.

this is his website. it has a contact number on there so you could try calling that. http://www.pceazy.com/ otherwise if you have his address then i would say either tell the police (though i am not sure if they do much about instances like this) otherwise it is the good old fashioned approach of filling a car with all your bigest mates and paying him a trip! (not that i condone this but from past experience i often find there isn't many other options!)

although before you do either give him plenty of warning of your intentions and let him kno you are serious and see if that motivates him to cough up first!

also just a note which some might find usefull. When ever i deal with some who quotes their ebay feedback as their reference i always insist that they send a message from that ebay user account to my ebay user account. That way you can be sure that they do genuinely have access to the account that they claim is theirs! otherwise people can just link to any account on ebay and pretent it's theirs.

And he doesn't seem to have any references in the A-ZOTT. This, and all the various excuses reminds me of another scammer I lost £40 to over a year ago. He kept making excuses, till he finally fell of the face of the planet!

Well this is my second time being scammed. Lost over £100 for a P900 to morrways, also known as john_bruce or summat.

edit: most of Alton_Towers' posts were in the for sale section.
