Well Friends, if anybody is facing this error, its mostly because of low battery. I was facing the same problem and searched a lot of forums and made a lot of querries but didn't found any direct answer but got an idea that its due to low battery.
Whats happened to my mobile was that i was updating it using SEUS when my pc crashed. I must confess that my battery at that time was about 50% charged. After that i tried again but to no use, even my K750i was not detected by the computer. I was really disappointed. I tried Davinciteam client but i got the Error: 0x005556. Really frustrated.
I didn't found any friend having a SE fone where i can charge my battery as its different from the other SE fones. Then finally my one friend has SE K300i and borrowed it from him, made a connection through wires and charged my battery for 6 hours. Tried again and Bravoooooo, my fone was flased using Davinci Client in first attempt.
Conclusion: When you get Error: 0x005556, Please charge your battery. Mind you that battery is not charged when the fone is dead. I was trying to charge my battery in my dead K750i for hours but to no use.
