Hi all, I've got SE HBH-600 headset, which is going to die soon because of the battery. I like this headset. Last week i got new BT From Ebay, which is Moto HS850. Actually this one is piece of crap. So i sold it. Now, i was wondering which BT headset do you use with your W800/K750 and what is your impression?

@dima - I manage to get me a Motorola HS820 with my V3, quite happy with it when paired with my Motorola fones too. I haven't seen the looks of the HS850 though, and what made you say (from your experience) that it's a CRAP

Paired with T630 and W800i sound quality is awful. Static noice, cracking noice within the call as well as low volume level with absolute absence of Bass makes this headset "crap" for me. The concept of folding mic is amazing thought. Stand by and talk time isn't an issue also. But sound quality makes me mad. I paired it with RAZR V3 and it worked just fine with a bit low volume.

I'm using the HBH-608i and very happy with it.Only don't take the HBH-610,the biggest crap I've ever seen,does'nt work fine with k750i.

does he Plantronics Discovery 640 work so well? My Motorola HS-810 works up to 20 meters on a beach (tested !), and I can carry my phone deep down in my pocket or bag or anything and still don't get any static or noise while on a call...

This was NEVER the case with any other BT headset I have tested including Sony Ericsson BT headsets.

This Plantronics Discovery 640 looks very nice indeed, so I might give it a spin !!

THE PLANTRONICS 640 IS A PIECE OF GARBAGE.

I miss my old MOTORLA HS10, it was my favorite, especially for the reasons you mentioned. I'd go downstairs and do my laundry and leave my phone upstairs in my bedroom and not even a cackle. nothing.

I just purchased the Motorola HS850, am charging it right now, will let you know how it works with my W800I, i'm hoping for the same results as my old HS810, i had with my Ericsson t616

On to the Plantronics:

1. I could not even walk 4 feet away without this thing doing the "beep shuffle"...i'm serious, I even had my w800i in my pocket, and my headset on, and it would beep on and off, (disconnecting and re connecting), and if it didnt reconnect, it would make the loudest freakin 'default not connected sound", which is horrible.

2. You get three differenc earpieces with this thing and i still couldnt get it to sit right in my ear. (I'm a chick of average height and weight). Dont even bother with the ear hook for extra added security, its blunt, doesnt flex like the M hs810 & hs850, its just hard, stiff and very uncomfortable...will leave the pun in this for another time....

I've tried several bt headsets, and of all of them, expensive and non expensive, newest and a few years old, my all time favorite by far was my hs810

I hope the Motorola hs850 is going to be just as good....If not, i'm hitting ebay for my old baby, the hs810

Hi All,

thought i would put my 2 pence worth, in.

I spend between 2 and 6 hours per day on my phone for work purposes, so a BT headset is absolutely necessary, and as such, i have some opinions on a few of them.

I am using the K750i, which overall seems to have weak BT range on all but the SE headsets:

Nextlink AX - ok headset, 3 hours talktime with the 750i, receive sound is good, and it's quite comfortable ONCE YOU GET USED TO IT! Transmit audio is ok, if a little quiet for most of my callers liking, but range is very bad.

Plantronics 640 - very good headset, very small, 4 hours talktime, quite comfortable, but range is CRAP with the 750i. If my phone is in my left pocket, and the headset is on my right ear - static! Receive and Transmit audio is very good.

HBH 608 - range is good, battery life is very good (6+ hours), BUT received audio is just too quiet. Transmit audio is good.

HBH 610 - actually, everyone hates it, but i find it quite good. Range is very good, better than all the above, transmit audio is good and receive audio is excellent, very loud too. Not the most comfortable, but not bad either. Battery life is a solid 5 hours talktime.

Jabra BT250 - not bad, EXCELLENT transmit audio, good receive audio, 6 hours talktime, but range is awful, very very bad.

Jabra BT800 - too big, a little heavier than i like, and receive audio is just too quiet.

Gennum Nxzen - doesn't work with the K750i - shame, because i work for Gennum and got one for free!

I use the HBH 610 the most out of all the above.

Shame that no-one makes a headset that does it all, small & comfortable, with good range and battery life and strong receive and transmit audio - no-one seems to be able to get all these features together in a single product!
