> P910 Green LED Stays constantly lit?
Bookmark topic
As owners will know this light should just flash every few seconds but mine stays lit all of the time. Tried turning it off/on & removing batt for a few mins but it doesnt seem to affect it.
Any idea what it is and if it'll have any knock on effects for my battery?
Tried a googe & esasto search but cant see anyone with the same problem?!

it wont have a great deal of drain on the battery life as a led typically draws 10 to 15ma.a 1.3ah batt(p910 battery) would run that led for 100's of hours.
i'd suggest an internal drive format...it's the only thing i can think of.all the best.

I can only see the GREEN light lit continuously on my P800 when the charging of battery is already full. When in use it does 'blink' intermittently. Better bring your fone to the

Service Center mate. Good luck!

If that's the only problem of the phone, I wouldn't worry.
LEDs spend almost no battery.

Just a 'Q' here mates, isn't it that the GREEN blinking light signifies the signal (network) strength

As the BLUE light is for - Bluetooth . . .

I thought it just flashed to let you know it does have signal, basically so you know it's not switched off.
I can't see why it'd flash more or less depending on signal strength, who's going to look at their phone for 30 seconds to figure out how much coverage it has?
You might be right though, I'll have to test it

we have a client here with the same concern and our
technician open the unit and found some minor corrosion.
maybe, same thing with you. also, with that in steady mode,
sync. will also affected just like what happened to him. better
bring your phone to service center.

I had a same problem but it is gone when I turn my phone off and recharge it. Green LDE is on when your phone have signal and if it is in silent mode then you can see if there is any mist calls or messages because LED is starting to blink faster.

maybe its because your phone thinks its charging because thats when the green light stays on. maybe the gold pin connector on the bottom of the phone is dirty or faulty. but dont think it'll have much effect on the battery life. and i agree the blinking does not show much signal strength because like one user said, whos gonna stare at the phone for 30 secs. might as well stare at the screen. its faster.

the green led doesn't indicate signal strength, it merely indicates a signal(network connection)
