Not 1GB like gmail, but I use it as a reliable free pop service. I download mail daily to my pc, so capacity isn't an issue, however I think it's reasonable. It's 100% free, and reliable.
And no one is collecting all your mail, like gmail. Once you download it it's yours alone.

I have no need for multi-gigabyte imap email. I'd rather have all my mail stored on my server than online.
