HI I am accessing my uk HSBC account via Opera Mini, and althought I can get onto the site and log-in sucessfully and view and modify my account details, I'm getting a message at the top of the page that the information viewed on my phone is not secure.
How can I make this secure? and if I don't is it dangerous and easy to someone else to access it? Does it make any diference?
How can I get around this problem?

Those are for the built in browser, and they work. Go to hotmail and log in, you will see the little lock by the globe on the top bar of the phone. Opera mini is using the java interface, and it doesn't have it's own certificates, so it's up to opera to add a secure connection to opera mini.

If you are going to buy something on the cell, use the built in browser, opera mini is not secure.

Only netfront browser 4 the Pseries has secure connections...I use it all the time 2 trade in stocks & bank online.
