Something's happening to my p910i. Sometimes when I'm in flip closed mode, the keys don't respond or answer with the wrong command. By pressing ok, I get number 4. By pressing the back key, I get * or something else. I don't think the keypad is damaged because it doesn't always happen. Could it be some sort of virus or something?, any thoughts, workarounds?. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the most common fault on the P910 phones.
The keyboard goes faulty.
You can take the keyboard off, clean it etc as best you and see if that helps.
Have a search of this forum, this is sadly a very common fault and often the only fix is to purchase a new keyboard.
Mine's got a nasty crack in it and I'm just waiting for mine to fail...

Hi!,
i used to have this same problem, but its gone away now for some reason!?
As for removing the keypad, reda the instructions in the box, or use the stylus to remove the bit of plastic by the hinge of the flip (the one saying either "quickshare" or "orange") by pushing it up from the small hole at the bottom. Then you'll need a teeny tiny screwdriver to unscrew the 2 screws under the plastic, thats it!
Failing that maybe try a firmware update from SE site.
Good luck
Jon

I just took the keypad off and I'm cleaning the contacts and keys throughly. I hope this helps. It doesn't look that bad without the keypad, but I do text A LOT and it's a pain in the arse to type all the sms with the onscreen keyboard. Cheers to all!

You should learn to write on the screen. It's faster than using the onscreen keyboard.
