This SIM card will have 8000 times more memory than standard 64 kilobyte SIM cards.Orange will be the first mobile network operator to offer multimedia content services to subscribers via 512 megabyte SIM cards.The high density SIM will be rolled out across Orange European markets in 2006, commencing in France, where it will be initially available on an LG U8210 handset.

What use would it be? I dont like storing numbers on the sim as it can only store one number against a name.
Can it be used to hold MP3's or things like that?

yes it can hold MP3's and videos just like any memory card!

well that amount of memory will save some people with phones that have no expandable memory, like T610 or W550. and if you get W800 with this sim you have 1GB from the start !!
