take for example the following phones:
t68i: to lock the keypad, you press "more" then "1". to unlock the keypad, you have to press C then "yes".
t610: you lock it by pressing "more" then "*". doing it again will unlock the keypad.
k700: you lock it by pressing "*" then "lock keys". doing it again will unlock the keypad.
it makes me think... why does SE phones have different key lock/unlock combinations? why not create a universal key lock/unlock sequence like other phones have?

I've used all three phones and locking/unlocking is not exactly rocket science as you make it out to be.

awww come on brix,he's got a point.makes me wonder too.all the phones he mentioned have the same candy bar form factor but different ways to lock the keypad.why?se?why?

fones are a bit complicated to use compared to, say, Nokias (user friendly), specially when browsing the MENU . . . even the keypad lock on the P800 has something else: 'square box' on the keypad then 1 . . .. I guess the keypad lock on Nokia models are - standard, up to the latest models.

To be honest, it's not all that difficult to figure out the unlocking and locking keys on any
phone and to have a variety is better than the same functions all the time
