Hey sorry to bother you i dont know weather you can help me or not lol! Anyway my brother has given me a k750i with a broken lcd which i can replace on ebay yada yada yeah. Once its fixed ill of course be using it, but as im with o2, the freaking phone is branded and locked to vodaphone, ill get it unlocked on my local market, and hopefully see if thye can debrand it too, but if they cant debrand it im stuck with the horrible sign of vodaphone splash screens and vodaphone live icons on the menu, can anybody help. Also i have been reading about firmware, as i have a psp, im used to firmware "hacking" as it were, but i mean what do i do with a k750i, I want my phone to be up to date and stuff so im really confused about that, also whats USES? and alike. Im realy confused and im sorry if im sounding like a n00b which is the thing i deteste the most.

Service. It's basically a website provided by SE that allows you to update your firmware free of charge using your PC (not macs or linux unfortunately) and either a suitable cable or a docking station. Not all branded phones can be updated via SEUS.
The real question is whether or not you actually need to update your firmware. If the phone's working fine and to your liking then there really is no need to update the firmware at all. SE rarely add extra features to their firmware, it's mainly just minor bug fixes and as such, it's not needed if your phone is working ok.

! As I have heard about lots of people experiencing problems, also with firmware updates gettign to like 51% and dying, which scares me
, I might just not debrand, (as much as id like to) due to me not being confident, and as good as i am wth computing matters, lady luck seems to have a grudge against me lol. I might just see if someone at my local market can do it, and if it breaks, i sue them
