sorry, i should have been more clear, im looking for a more upmarket one

a 17" yes, maybe go 19" if price is under £220 delivered.

a samsung LG or sharp

i need resolution to be 1280*1024

and a refresh time of under 12ms, roughly.

contemplating buying an LCD tv which works as monitor.
