i think they are forgeting the american market because the new model they have been anouncing like p990 or w950 i never read about an "a" variant witch 850 and 1900 bands. What do you think?

they seem to support the 1900 band but the 850 is really absent!! the last phone with that band is the W810 I think.

yeah but the w810 it's more like a w800 with 850, no a really new phone like w950 or p990, another think i realise it's that these two don't have edge as 3g isn't avaible in my country

mmm yeah, that's probably why they haven't launched an american version of these phones. mostly for those continets wich support all of the services. let's just hope they como up with an american phone soon, that is very functional.

I understand that in the USA the networks have a very strong influence over which phones are released and therefore SE would need a firm volume order before they would invest. They are a relatively small company. Even Nokia have had to work with Sanyo to tackle the US market.

yes,ever since ericsson teamed up with sony they have become very asia centric.all the new phones r either for the eu/apac.i guess se will consider phones for the americas only after cingular goes umts.
btw,no p990i for down under either.

The p910 dont have 3g but the p990 has.Thats the reason.I think the americas need to step out of 2.5g and into 3g.Anyone have any info when u planning to do that?
