> Orange GPRS Not Working
Bookmark topic
I have a T68i on Orange (UK), I subscribed to the GRPS services on Saturday, and on Sunday it was working.
However, since Monday morning, it will not connect. No error messages appear, it tries to connect for about 1 min 17 seconds, then times out. Orange has re-sent the settings, I have re-created them myself but it still will not work. The odd thing is that GPRS service worked on Monday evening for a few minutes, so I don't think it is a problem with the settings.
Normal WAP works, but not WAP over GPRS.
Please help! Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

yes - I had a few probs with GPRS - full signal (blue wedge above GSM signal) phone would do the same as urs - not connect - blank screen - then fail even with full sig - all settings were ok - rang 156 - sent it to technaical dept - came back as coverage/user elated - meaning where I was using my phone - I live down the road from a transmitter - so that was bollocks - Mine did work fine if different areas though - the prob has now been resolved?? must ahve been transmitter related as my signal would come & go in areas where I had no prob before - try to clear ur cache on the wap menu then try to re-connect - any luck??? I'll check ur postcode then post via wap for any probs

there are a few degraded sites near ur postcode area (not on full capacity) - so that may cause probs - try fone in another area to see if this resolves

Goods news is that the GPRS access is working again, from last night. I have not changed any settings, so I can only assume the degraded sites where the cause of the problem.
