Some questions here

- Can P990 record in different bitrates ( 32kbps 96 or even 128?)
- How long can it record?
- In what format?
- Is it clear?

I'm intending to get the P990 and use its voice recorder for recording my lectures (secondary function of course) .. Thus clarity and length of recording is important to me.

anyone knows?

with the p990 u can record what ur listening to on fm radio, format still not known.
if it can record voice calls is also not known.
as for recording other sounds with it's recorder,my guess is it should be in amr format, like the p910 & almost all phones.
length & quality of recording not known either.
r u aware that the phone ain't out yet?
btw,the o2 atom records from fm radio in wav & amr format,so i guess even the p990 could record fm in the same formats.

yeah i know the phone is not out yet, just trying my luck

actually what im interested in is only the voice recording part, not fm recording or
what.

How about P910i? can it record in different bitrates? and only in amr?
somehow i got a feeling that p990 recording is going to be the same as p910i
