How can the K750i have a different SAR rating to the w800i, does different software mean higher radiation?

Just as well it's too big to have it in my pocket most of the time - usually in coat pocket or bag (or desk drawer at work), so this doesn't bother me too much.

What's this?

Phones give out radiation? No... You're not kidding?

Next you'll be telling me that cars give out a poisonous gas, or that drinking beer is bad for me!

(adopting Scouse accent) "Calm down, calm down!"

So the P910 has an SAR of 1.5 W/kg. So what?

Where's the evidence that this rating is inherently more dangerous than a phone with a lesser SAR? Indeed (as CNET itself asks), where's the evidence that *any* phone radiation is dangerous to health?

But look at this UK list and some of the phones listed have a much lower SAR. Maybe it is just USA models that are higher due to the frequency they work on.

They did not have the P910

Here are examples: The US list: P900 - 1.36
The UK list: P900 - 0.91

The US list: Motorola V70 - 1.54
The UK list: Motorola V70 - 0.96

We might just have the beginnings of a conspiracy theory!!!!!!

if this is the case do you think we'll
live happily without our precious phone, i won't

my two phones are even on the top list
my baby P910 and my precious Treo650

oh..c'mon next time they'll put
a sign on our phone just like a cigarette pack
that it is dangerous to our health yet we keep
on using it

I walked into the gas-station the other day and heard the merry stutter of my gprs-traffic in the gas-station radio across the room.

So im not surprised that it ranks really high on the radiation scale, on the other hand. For a phone this expensive i its kind of ok to rebel against its former master and make a grab for world domination etc..
