I was looking around on a mobile site and saw the d800 as ebing in shops...i was shocked as i had never even heard it had been released, or seen it in any shops..
Is the d800 supposed to be the model up from samsungs flagship d500 then d600 range?
If it is then what the hell are they doing putting a 1.3mp cam in it?
Craziness this..anyone got news on it?

I just checked out the D800 and it is ok. It has a big 320x240 screen but no memory card slot and only 1.3mp camera.

Further proof that Samsung confuses mobile buyers with their disorderly model designation and their flooding of the market with a gazillion phones.

damn str8! completely stupid! Why the hell does the d800 have lower specs than d600...im so confused..samsung need to reeli look at the way tehey market thier phones
@ brix...you are right, samsung make so many models, its such a waste of time in my eyes...notice the way that they have so many features they can implement, but spread across their whole network of phones, whereas sony ericsson tend to focus and put all the elements into ine sucessful phone...if samsung just spent their time putting all the right elements together they could make a great phone. This is what they did at the time of the d500, it was a fantastic phone and went to the top of the market...they are wasting time and money flooding the market with so many models in my eyes. It mearly creates a large number of ok designed phones with confusing specs, some good bits and some bad to every phone they release.
