> my p800 charger burn out ?

hi all i had my p800 connected to my pc via the craddle i also had it on charge via the cradle at the same time when suddenly i smelt burning i looked at my phone and it stopped chargeing and the plug had melted on the top , i open the charger to find it black and burnt out has anyone had a prob like this ? charger details are as follows

at the moment im using a nokia charge on it , i cut the wire of the old charger striped the wires on the nokia charger and connected the se end to it , it waorks for now i must buy a new one tomorow lol
