My dads just given me an old computer from his work. It's really, really bad and only has 6 gigs! Anyway, all I really wanted to do with it was go on the internet. The computer will be in my room, and our wireless router is downstairs. The computer doesn't have any form of Wifi. Is there a easy way I can give it Wifi, e.g an adapter? If so, does anybody know of any good ones that are worth getting. We tried to set up a wireless connection between two computers on the same floor at christmas but it didn't work. Does this mean that it will definatley not work in my room (bearing in mind that my room is a bit closer). Do I need top get an especially strong adapter?
Oh, the router I have is a linksys WRT54GS V1.1. Well, thats what it says on the box...And we have a WPA security thingy.
