When typing a message, how can i know how many characters have i written so far. I know it does tell me when there is 20 characters left or when i'm into the 2nd or 3rd message. But what if i wanna know how many characters i've written so far (e.g.. 59, or 87 maybe)
any ideas?

Probably because k0rrupter is used to Nokia phones, most of which give you a character count through the entire message.

It is a very handy feature, you must admit. It seems to be a lot of guesswork on SE when planning out a message!
Not that I plan out my messages or anything... but ..you know!

Particuarly when an SMS spills over into the 2nd message, and you need to know how many characters to delete to bring it back to the one message.

You'll know this because you will delete "x" characters to get back to "SMS 1" and then you know!?

Yes, this is how we all know when we are back at one message.
The point I was making was that a complete counter would take the guesswork out of the number of characters that need to be deleted to bring the SMS back to one.
