Go ahead dude,

is not forcing you to use their units. You do have a choice.

Try changing the sort order of your contacts names under the phonebooks options menu, then switch it back again.

Hello,
This happened to me too. Twice. First on my T39, then on my T68i a week ago. When trying to view my phonebook, several entries were missing. But when I scrolled to the bottom, I could still see a couple of "voice" icons but with no name associated to them. Weird???!!! I think this happened while I was using my T68i + Sony Clie to surf the web. My connection suddenly stopped so I quit surfing. Tried to make a call a few minutes later then realized that the phone entry was missing.
Tried everything from turning phone off then on, removing the battery for a couple of minutes but still nothing. Decided to just erase entire phonebook and copy old ones from the sim (lost a couple of entries though

).
If this does happen again, I will try rearranging the sort order as one poster suggested....

dun333,
yeah that's what I do and it fixes it most of the time. Last month I tried that BUT it didn't fix it!!! I tried many times and still no go! I had to do a master reset and re-sync!
What if this happens in the field in the middle of important business? You're screwed!

Hey does anyone know what causes this problem? And how to avoid it!?
And which firmware versions for T39, R520, and T68m/i DON'T have this problem?
Thanks!
