I have a query regarding w800i ..it seems that it has only java compared to 2 java which is present on k700 and 3 java whihc is present on w900.....
now what do you call that on part of sony .....they release a new phone but not all features are new.....infact compared to k700 java is downfgraded ....which is why some 3d games e.g 3dspeedchaser wont work on w800 where as they work fine on k700.....can some one confirm this if they know abt it

there is this software called
FPC BENCH on
www.getjar.com
this software tells you all detaisl about java on graphics on your phone..
i tried it on my w800i and guess what it shows colours as 65k
instead of 265k.....
can someone test it on theirs and let me know ..if they get the same info..
there is certainly some bug somewhere....

This is normal. All java MIDP2 benchmarks show 65K colours because java is using only 65K i think. Java speed in D/K&50i and W800i compared to K700i is about 150% faster.

it is not that we are trying to criticise w800 or k750 ..or for that matter w800..
i have both w800 and k700 and love them both ...but there were certains fact stht i found out and wanted to know th truth in them ..
agreed tht processing i w800 is muhc better than k700..
but wht abt the 3d issues ..i raised i as i saw on few sites ht k700 had 2java where as w800 only java and some of my 3d games as i have mentioned work fine i k700 but wont in w800......
i had evene as the customaer care this issue .. they have no idea....
you say ..some 3d work better in your 750 than 700....tht goods...coz tht should be the way it is ..as it is supposed to be a advanced device..
can you tell me the games you are talking abt....3D are the one i am refferig to not general ..java games...
coz i saw some general work n w800 but wont o k700 so i hae verified tht ..
