Hola! Recently I've upgraded to K750i from P910i (I've been using P-series since early 2003). With time there appeared a question if it is possible to edit TXT/HTML files with the phone. First I was about to be sure there isn't any but I've found a wonderful J2ME application called TextEditor which was to be compatible only with Simemens devices. Yet it perfectly works with all Sony Ericsson mobiles supporting Sun JSR-75 (javax.microedition.io.file.FileConnection) file system: W550, W600, K750, W800, K600, D750, V600, K608 and Z520.
I've updated the ugly-looking icons with macish ones & proudly present you

Seems to work ok, and the icons you replaced are nice.
Only trouble is it asks multiple times for permission to read user data. And you can only set the Permissions for the app to "No" or "Always Ask", not "Yes"

Yep, this asking about permissions is really annoying but it seems it's a "feature" of JSR-75 implementation in Sony Ericsson mobiles

I think the only way to get rid of the confirmation is to sign the midlet:

@mb-new: Was not helpful. Didn't know what to follow.
@all: Can anyone post the steps for getting those messages to go away in this thread itself? Digital Signing or whatever it takes.
Thanks

Greetings everyone...
TextEditor does not work on my SE-W550i but it works well on my SE-K750i.
Anyone knows why and is there any solution to get the TextEditor work on SE-W550i?
Thanks in advance.
