I am having a similar problem. Trying to sync T68i with a Sony VAIO using BT3030 Bluetooth adapter. Cannot sync with outlook. Tried using XTND software but it only works if I'm using the InfraRed (IR) port. Changed notebooks and I don't have IR anymore, just Bluetooth. Tried tech support for AT&T, Sony Ericsson, with no luck? Does anyone have any ideas on how to accomplish this?

I am able to link and transfer biz cards and images using Bluetooth, but no synchronizing. Is there any other software that is needed? Does the T68i support synchronizing with Bluetooth?

Thanks

I've got a similar problem trying to get the T68 to run as a modem for my Sony Vaio, using a Mitsumi USB adapter. I've downloaded the latest software from Mitsumi and from Sony Ericsson, and got the system to the point where the phone starts actually dialing the number of the modem that I want to call. However, the connection is immediately lost (within a second, so well before the connection can have been established), with an error message, saying something about a connection problem with the remote computer...

Can anyone help me out, here? Thanks!

Well, i am also nearing the stage of the problem, I have a USB DCU 10 cable but it did not recognise my phone. However, I can use iR to link my phone as a modem via GPRS..

Am thinking of geting a BT adaptor but read of so many problems connecting the two...initially I was very naive to think any BT device will work...if i buy one from Expansys that claims to have tested connectivity, will it work ? I am also using a viao (without BT) and T68i

Non-techies like me would really appreciate inputs

thanks

I managed to get the VAIO and T68 sycning to Outlook using Bluetooth. Need to activate Com1 Serial Port after discovering the services of the T68. Then go into the control panel and disable all the Bluetooth com ports that have been created except that one. After that for me it started working when I ran XTND.

Good luck!

Still trying to figure out how to connect to my computer's modem? Any ideas?

I have a vaio R600 and am using the Sony bluetooth dongle PCGA-BA1 which comes with the same bluespace software that is on the vaios with bluetooth built in.

It isn't the most obvious piece of software I have ever used but I can successfully synch my T68i using the SE Xtend software and can also synch my 5450 ipaq no problem.
