If I plug the headphones in, the phone goes into handsfree mode. But when the phone rings.. the sound comes from the phone - not the headphones... why is that?

If u put it in silent mode, the headphines will ring instead of the phone. Tha happens with my k700. Look if it works on a k750

good idea tranced.

But the phone is in silentmode when I am in work and when I plug the headphones in... the silent mode disappears... and the phone rings not the headphones.

Well, when u plug the headphones in the profile changes to HandFree. So the HandFree profile must be changed to silent mode. It will say HandFree profile updated or something like that. Good Luck

lets say you have the headphones in but have put the phone down and taken the headphones out of your earsm how would you hear the phone unless you where wearing them? i just think thats what they did it for.

- Plug your headphones in and then turn silent mode on.

If it doesnt work, look out for a SE man

When you change a setting that belongs to a profile, it is changed only for the active profile.

Put the phones in, set silent mode on, and you should see a display saying 'profile changed'.

when you put the headphones out, profile will change to what it was before, probably normal, and if silent mode was off there, will still be off.

Maybe have a good read in the manual some time.

There is an easy way u can done.frist,plug the headphone in.Then you profile should turn to the handfree mode as default setting.and second press and hold #key which on the right bottom of key pad the phone will work on silence mode.and now,u will hear ring from the headphone instead of speaker. so here u are.
