Hi all,

Just got my phone hooked up via a cable to my PC. It works nicely. But the Ericsson text messaging add-in seems to prompt me for the details EVERY TIME I load up Outlook. Is this normal? I don't think so.. I enter my details - sms provider/centre, and my phone number and it all works fine ,but when I quit outlook and load it again.. it asks for the set up details all over again! Why??

Thanks! Any help would be appreciated!

Well what do i say ... that add in is one of the worst software i have used! for that matter every software that comes with the phone.. including XTND, are crappy. here on the forum you will find some third party software which are much better .... the SMS plugin is not XTND by the way ... its another ericsson software ... and yeah whats happening to you when u open outlook, is exactly what was happening on my system.

The XTND software together with the Outlook SMS add-in work just perfect with my T39m (R2M software). You have to upgrade the software on the CD that came with your phone to the version from the SE website. I use the IR connection between T39 and my laptop that has Win XP Home OS. The Outlook is from MS Office XP. And, as I told you, no problems so far...
