can anyone help? in the last couple of days my phone keeps saying inactive sim and keeps restarting itself whenever i send a text-im at my wits end

You may have a faulty sim card. I had a similar problem when I upgraded my handset. I obtained a new sim card from my telco and that fixed the problem. My old sim was over 8 years old and I was told that sometimes older sims do not work properly in new handsets. My sim card was replaced free and I was able to keep the same phone number.
