> Bluetooth internet on Mac through k750i?
Bookmark topic
Hi there, I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem I am having.
I am trying to use Bluetooth on my phone which is a Sony Ericsson k750i together with my Mac to get internet running on the computer. I live in the UK and my phone is with O2, my Mac is running OSX Tiger. I have tried unsuccessfully to try and get the internet running using the phone. I read a tutorial in a magazine which shows you how to do it, but the link it gives doesn't seem to give me the right files. I have also checked on here and I found the same link, but its not working right. The link was:
http://www.taniwha.org.uk/
I tried to download the scripts that are supposed to make this work. However once I download them and unzip them, the folder that it creates is empty. I have tried this many times, unzipping on different computers and it still doesn't work, so I can't install them.
Does anyone have a working copy of this zipped file that I could have? Or does anyone know another way I can use Bluetooth to make this work? Any help I get is much appreciated.
Thanks in advance. X

The files on that site are not 'zipped' - they are 'stuffed' and you will need '
Stuffit Expander' to un-stuff (decompress) the files.
I just downloaded the "Scripts for (Sony) Ericsson GPRS phones (36kB)" file:
http://www.taniwha.org.uk/files/SonyEricssonGPRS2004-01a.sit
and it un-stuffed perfectly for me.
Check out the following thread for any further help:

Thats what I meant, I was using Stuffit Expander to open it but it wasn't working right. I uninstalled then reinstalled from the link you gave me, and it is working perfectly now, thank you
