Another way to "To find t68 is new or old without sim card" is by looking at the manufacturing date on the sticker of the t68.

Remove the battery and at the back of the unit you will find the sticker where S/N, IMEI etc are indicated. On the upper right portion above the first bar code is the manufacturing date on a year/week format (02W26 means year 2002, week 26).

The battery itself has a manufacturing date indicated on the sticker of the battery after the S/N.

Thanks for the info.

My joystick counter shows 17000
Cover at back of phone shows 2W14
and one at battery shows 2W08

I bought this phone from ebay. supposed to be new.

I guess then It is a very used phone... may be 6 months

But looks like battery and Phone are not of same lot. In other words battery is used and older than the phone and I suspect they did'nt send me the new battery which came with the phone.
Is there a way to check? S/n and Imei no don't match on them.

I would have still liked to figure out total call time used on phone

Best

total call time in the service menu is only available in the MMS software from version R2E006...

even if the phone is manufactured 02w14 doesn't mean it's used since then... it can have been in a box in the shop for a couple of months before it was bought...

when buying a phone you should always ask for a receipt showing when and where the phone was bought... even if you buy it through an auction site like eBay...
