Hi guys! Just got myself a nokia 6030 as a backup phone. It works pretty well and does what it's supposed to. However, there's just one problem and that's opera mini not working on it. Any help would be much appreciated. If there're any 6030 users who are able to use opera mini on their phones, please let me know if there're any settings i need to configure. And maybe send me the working jar file? Thanks again.

The program starts, but the "processing" screen goes on forever. I know how it should work cos opera mini works just fine on my 3230 and 3120. So it can't be my service provider either. Sigh...

> Run any other java app that uses wap/internet access. Or use the built-in browser. If either works, your Opera Mini is corrupted.
> Uninstall (delete) your Opera Mini and download a new one. Via wap, not via pc, to make sure you're getting the correct version.
> Make sure the site you're accessing isn't down. Cuz if it is, "Processing" will display indefinitely (no error message.)

I've tried all the above before posting. That's why i'm pretty puzzled as to why it doesn't work. The exact same file works perfectly fine on my 3230. I tried downloading the latest version from mini.opera.com, no joy. I'm using oceanlake.com to browse webpages for now.

hi notbig...
seems you know a lot about 6030...
my problem is i have lost connection to the internet in my 6030...
it started when i installed opera mini v.4.2 and i put the proxy needed...
then i was unable to get to the homepage of my network...
it just says "Loading" for 3 to 5 minutes and then the message "No Response.Try Again" appears...
but even with that,i can still connect to the internet w/o going to the homepage...i just manually type the address to go there directly,or loading the bookmarks saved...
but it costs me 10pesos per 30minutes...
i have read in one of the threads here that i should delete all the settings in my phone so what i did was...
Settings> Config. Settings> Personal Config. Settings> and i deleted all of them (Web,Multimedia msg. and Access Point)
now i can't connect to the internet also even if i manually type the address or try to load the bookmarks...
the just happens...
it says "Loading" for a couple of minutes and ends up with "No Response.Try Again"
please help me if you know how to fix this...
