Well I couldn't find any info on this, so here's my problem: I love this new headset and want to buy it, but not if it uses 2.4Ghz!!!
It seems like everything is using that band and it's driving me mad. My wireless network (802.11b) craps out whenever my wife uses either the microwave or the cordless phone, and another device would make matters even worse. Doesn't anybody else have this problem?

802.11 wasn't designed to cope with too much air traffic... It can't adapt to the signal noise generated by Bluetooth (and apparently, even microwave ovens)
Bluetooth can function in a noisy environment... it slows down, but it will still work.

there's also a root article stating that BT doesn't interfere with 802.11
BUT take note that RF is very erratic and many factors (even house wiring) can affect signal clarity and range... the only SURE way is to test it.
But in one of the whitepapers of Bluetooth (I can't remember if I read it on Ericsson's site or Bluetooth.org) it stated that because BT hops more frequently, it can adapt to noisier environments than 802.11.
Just make sure of your surroundings before investing in WLAN equipment.

Yes, microwaves and "long-range" cordless phones both operate on 2.4Ghz. It isn't a REAL problem except when I'm streaming something like a movie, and most of the time my wife is watching it with me anyway!
In any case, my biggest fear was that my calls would be interrupted by my WLAN, and from your info, it seems that won't be a problem. Excellent! Now if I can just find it in stock, hehe.
