this is my modded ipod,
it was originally a 20gig u2 special edition, however its nows a 40 gig black one with grey clickwheel.

procedure
take ipod rear cover off
remove hardrive battery motherboard
you are then left with the white front cover and grey clickwheel, which is glued to the cover, so you have to push it out.
once you have the clickwheel out, insert a slim screwdriver between the red bit and the touchwheel sensor (it is just stuck on) peel it off, applying minimal pressure. then do the same for the second ipod and swap the colours that you want.
the process was quite easy, however i was very nervouse and when i got mine back together in the excitement the other clickwheel fell on the floor and broke (tiny cable).
i shall not be doing this mod to someone elses ipod as it is simply to risky.

£46 , but it was unfixable in my opinion, it was sold to a film company, so if you see it on the telly you know who made it lol.
