i dont know if this has been added before, if it as im sorry,
but last week i finally got tom tom uiq 5 to work on a p900,
After all the people and shops saying it wouldnt work i stuck to it and finally got it to work,
when i got the software it was to big 148mbs and after cutting and deleting things it didnt need i finally got it to fit on a 128mb memory card,
had it for a week now and still works great so its all good news for p900 owners,

When I bought the program last year for my p910i I also installed it on my p800 to see if it would work on it and it did. The only problem I had is that I couldn't find maps small enough to fit on the 128mb duo, but then I tried some standard maps my cousin had for his tomtom pda version and the sotware recognised them but the map had to be activated (benelux standard map which is about 57mb).
So the bottom line is that you can use Tomtom 5 on your p800 / p900 as long as you can get your hands on the standard maps (so not the plus versions) and you should have the luck of living in a "small" (mb size wise) country.

Its navigation software for in the car. You need an additional blutooth GPS receiver as well.

mmm interesting ok... how can you tell the difference between a locked map and a standard map? do you have a link for this?

@stallion
All maps have to be activated in Tomtom navigator 5 and you really can't tell the difference between a locked and unlocked map because when you transfer your "unlocked map" to another installation of tomtom5, you'll still have to activate it for that installation like any other software you use these days.
