I have reached the end of my tether regarding this matter.
My P900 screen randomly corrupts showing the screen below. Although it is in the Jotter screen, this error actually appears in almost ALL programs including sleep mode!
I have attempted a Master Reset, Firmware update and backing up to a previous version, all without success.

Having been a member for some time (using the site for advice only admittedly) I am sure that somebody has experienced this problem before and knows how to overcome it. Failing this I wil bin the P900 and await the forthcoming Nokia N80.

Thanks in advance.

Could be that the screen connection to the PcB is loose although, if it is only occuring when accessing certain programmes, it may just be software related. Try an online update. If that doesn't solve your problem, open the case and make sure that screen is properly plugged into the main board.

I am going to take the case apart and see. Anyone know of a link to a guide to taking it off? (I know it's lazy!)

For a corruption, it seems pretty clean (too clean)
I would do a full backup then hard-reset the phone (via service menu).
If the problem is fixed, then it was software related. If not, keep cleaning...

just to rule out the obvious here, have you reassembled the phone the right way? Is there anything touching the screen inside the housing that's not supposed to? Is the phone powering up normal out of the housing when you make the parts touch each other as if it were together?

It may seem stupid but you never know!

Everything is fuctioning in the background, phone powers up, you can click the screen where it should show "done" to start up the phone but the screen although powered, is black but lit up (If you know what I mean)

I've seen this mentioned by other P900 owners and they seem to end up getting their screens replaced. I don't think that is required as the screen stil registers input and the screen still lights up.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

No all parts have been replaced properly but the screen does the same even if loosly connected out of the housing.
