Hey ALL,
At the moment, Im using telewest as my ISP, and i havent had a problem since day 1. I started off with the 1MB connection, which was just increased to 4MB for free! The problem is, the internet browsing is great - pages load extremely fast, but my download speeds are terrible - probably worse than before, they now stay at around 40 KB/s, whereas many of my friends have speed at MB/S!...can anyone help me out here?

try a download manager. also depends on the capabilities of the server you are downloading from i often have 120kb/s on downloads and then on others i only get 20kb/s - so i think a lot depends on the server.
