I just picked up a used P910a and am generally happy with it. However, I find that I am unable to select using the Jog Dial (pushing inward). The jog dial works for scrolling up/down, tilting up/down -> It just doesn't select when pushed in. Is there a setting I'm disabling somewhere? If this Dial is indeed busted, can I map another key to perform the function? (the internet key, perhaps). If so, how do I go about mapping it?

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with the jog-dial problem .. but everytime I power off and power on the P910a, I get the message "not found", followed by a clickable box "conrinue". Once I click it the phone works OK (apart from the jog dial problem mentioned above).

Thanks for any help. Regards, Sabesh.

Getting an error message like this could indicate a software glitch - perhaps reflashing could fix this?

Or else the button may be faulty. I'm not able to help you myself with mapping a new button, but could suggest getting a service centre to have a look at it - if it is a hardware problem. To my knowledge, if the phone is not in warranty you just have to pay for the service - probably worth it?

jasond: Thx, a firmware re-install fixed the error message. It turns out that the phone is still under warranty. I've got an RMA setup to ship. Cheers, Sabesh.
