> Memory Stick Unmounted problem

just bought a gig MSDP however when i put it in my w800 it is not detected, it either says not inserted or unmounted, what am i doing wrong?

I found it quite difficult to get the memory stick to 'click' into place on my w800i - have you got it right in?
If so, have you formatted it? (file manager - more - format ext. memory)

Put the Memory Stick in and then turn the phone off and back on again, should solve your problem.

i am now having this exact problem.
i took a picture earlier, and then it got frozen on the "saving" screen...
that's when the memory stick got messed up.
now, it isn't recognized in anything...
my computer, my phone, my PSP, my camera, nothing...
i don't get why.
it tells me it's "unmounted" in service tests, and i don't even have the option to format it. I tried formatting in my computer, and it never worked.
i have no idea what to do.
can anyone help?
i neeeeed my 1GB backkk!
