hi,

i am looking at buying v600i - don't tell me to wait for new k610i (will be far too expensive when comes out

) - i am just wondering what things you can't do with the vodafone fw on it that you can do with the k600i/k608i fw on it - and i am NOT going on '3' network

!

They are the same phone jus in different casing and the v600i has branded firmware onit.... all the voda crap onit.... you can buy it and get the phone debranded so it has the generic software onit...

For me, V600 is a copy of K600, only with vodafone stuff; like W800 is a K750 with Walkman stuff. The only difference I see is the housing. I suggest you pick the better looking for you or the one that feels right (the material). If you choose V600 (I would), you can debrand it, like SE-Naz mentioned, to have it 'normal'. Cheers
