Hi,
I have a problem with my P910i. It doesn't ring when I get an SMS and the message icon is not lit either. I have to manually check for messages and it seems they do not appear immediately when received, but at random (?).
This is really annoying! Any solutions but to flash the firmware?

Have you tried booting the phone without any 3rd party apps? Do you have any 3rd party apps that might be interfering?
I've seen werid problems with my phone that a simple reboot has fixed, I assume you tried all that sort of stuff?

I fixed it by deleting about 2150 sms messages from the phone. Sad, but at least I exported them as a text file.

heh I didn't think to ask about that.
I used to keep all my txt messages too, until I though "When the hell do I ever go back and re-read them?" especially when most are just "yup be there in 10" or something.
Anyway, glad you fixed it

Yea, I know. It just feels pretty damn good to be able to flash my phone and say "hey, I got 2000 messages in it". It's the only way of convincing girls that the P910 is an advanced and not OLD phone, due to it's size.
