Here is a picture of a lab at Virgina institute of technology that has a 24 monitor display wall running quake 3.The system is driven by 12 linux servers (2 monitors per server). www.plastk.net

I love the idea of completely immersive games!

Its a completely different experience playing games on such a screen or a very large screen.

holly shit! bet that cost a few bob lol. 12 servers, its crazy. I would love to have something like that for say halo etc, but would be happy for a 30 inch mac lcd display, which would cost 1700, but that is just crazy

DAMN!!! Considering each monitor runs at 1024x768, the whole thing will be running at 8192x2304. That would require some serious GPU power. (I guess, hence the 12 Servers. )
